Seller disclosure

Who sells, fulfills, charges, refunds, and supports each storefront order.

Effective October 19, 2026

Your seller

The creator customer identified on the storefront is the seller and merchant of record. That customer sets the retail price, receives the shopper payment, owns support and refund decisions, and remains the seller whether it fulfills the order itself or hires a connected provider.

Kangaroo Pop's role

Kangaroo Pop supplies customer workspaces, storefronts, personalization, embedded checkout, order management, payment records, and authorized money workflows. Kangaroo Pop is not the product manufacturer, carrier, seller, or merchant of record for shopper purchases, and it does not collect or file sales tax. The creator chooses how to handle sales tax and owns registration, calculation, collection, filing, and payment for every destination, including North Carolina. Stripe Tax is optional.

Fulfillment providers

A connected fulfillment provider is a white-label supplier. It receives the snapshotted wholesale amount only after it accepts an assigned work order. It may report production, shipment, and exception facts, but it does not own the shopper relationship or decide a refund against the customer's charge.

Customer proceeds

Customer proceeds are the paid merchandise, fulfillment-method, and sales-tax amounts after Kangaroo Pop's platform fee, any accepted external-provider wholesale liability, refunds, and Stripe processing. The sales tax in those proceeds is the customer's to report and remit. A customer that is also its own provider receives no separate wholesale transfer to itself.
